The underwater discoveries

As the submarine surfaced and the hatch opened, you stepped out onto the deck. You had been sent on a mission to a remote underwater laboratory, deep in the ocean, to uncover the secrets of a lost professor's research. The professor had been studying a strange mutation in fish populations, and you had been sent to find out what the professor had discovered before disappearing. 

"You walked down the ramp and approached the laboratory, wondering what secrets lay within and what the professor had uncovered about the mysterious mutated fishes."
